Thanks Hosta, Obelixx and Verdun I know I should have got one already cut as Dove told me but I wanted to know what it looked like so I knew where to plant it will get to cutting it back when I return from the countryside this evening I do love the grasses I have so far, I also have a panicum and a pheasant grass, the cats find it great for pouncing on each other from!
Yippeee Skippy! Yes please Hosta you lovely fella! I'm working really hard in the garden, every second I get this year. Always seems to be in the dark, the rain or the snow! so haven't taken pictures yet but its shaping up
Morning all. Lovely, sunny and quite mild here so I think a day in the garden beckons.
Spent a pleasant afternoon yesterday potting up new purchases from the Secret Gardening Club. Today I think I shall be tending the woodland border, doing a bit of planting, making some hazel supports with this year's prunings and maybe doing some shredding.
Must make time for coffee and lunch... Best get a wriggle on
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Lovely day here too - about to go out and plant some plants now that there is no frost forecast for the foreseeable. Hardy plants, that have spent their first winter under cover - won't be risking tenders yet.
Just dropped littlest Chicklet off at work. Farnham is going all out to commemorate 100 years since the first two minute silence. Apparently it all started here, at a farmers May day market in 1916 - where they stood in silence for 2 minutes to remember their families, friends and neighbours who were fighting at the front. And then the idea caught on. who knew ?
love the fact that your Totally Tangerine has sneaked into your miscanthus picture Wonky - wot a diva
Anyone heard from Yvie recently ? New grandson should have arrived by now. If you are looking in, hope all is well.
