Plant or weed?

Hi all, i need some help identifying this plant/weed , i have no recollection of ever planting it, sorry if it's not the best pic in the world,

    Looks like a hypericum.  St John's Wort.

    Yep. Hypericum. I had a self seeded one appear in my front garden. I blame the birds.

    If it is anything like those in my garden, it can be very invasive so needs careful management/control.  I am currently digging lots of it out of overgrown borders.

    Thank you peeps, looks like the birds have been busy, i do actually quite like it, so i think i will let it grow, but keep my eye on it.

    Does have nice flowers though.
