I completely forgot to plant my gladioli and anenome St Bridget. Is it too late to plant them out now?

I did the same last year. I ended up planting gladioli at the end of May and I still had flowers in October. So I think it should be fine.

About the right time for gladioli. Anemone, I would soak for an hour in warm water to rehydrate, then plant.

Talking of gladioli, how do I plant the corms so that the flowers face me rather than the fence ?

Gladioli flowers usually face the sun. With a fence at the back of them, they should face away from the fence.
