Mushrooms in and around base composter

 I have just realised this week that there appears to be mushrooms growing out the of the composter I was just about to use as mulch.  My brother in law thinks it might be honey fungus!  Has anyone else had this problem?  Not sure whether to get rid of it all or stir it up and use it.  (I have heard some fungi can be beneficial)  Many thanks

Pretty sure I had similar last year and was told they were good fungus. Sure someone will confirm. Mine only lasted a week or so

Thanks very much for your reply Ice, did you just chop it all into the mix and use it as mulch on the beds?  Ive got three of these dalek bins and had them for around 8 years but never had this before.

Nope left it to itself. It went away on its own I'll see if I cab find my post and bump it up so you can compare photos
