propogation problems

As a new, inexperienced, but enthusiastic gardener I have been propagating a variety of seeds this year. Several seed types have geminated but don't live on too well. Thought I'd done well with healthy looking cucumbers but they've all withered.
What am I doing wrong?

hi castiger are you following packet instructions? pricking out? not too warm? enough light? potting on? i'm pretty new myself , sown loads of seed this year and it's been much more successful when I've actually paid attention to the pack instructions and kept a close eye on seedlings, not letting them dry out etc, hope you have more luck soon, keep trying!
Are you growing these indoors or in a greenhouse?
Damping off? Watering from underneath? Not using tap water?
