Compost Awareness Week

International Compost Awareness Week is a publicity and education initiative to showcase compost production and demonstrate compost use.  It is the worlds largest event designed to promote  composting in homes, schools and industry. Please participate and help promote composting to improve the soil and as an alternative to sending waste to landfill. Details of three events being organised by volunteer Master Composters are given at http://www.carryoncomposting.com/142941487

  • It is real even if it does give rise to images of old films that are not be PC.

.Please do not let the name put you off supporting Compost Awareness Week. There is interest out there. A few years ago when Mr Bloom came to Leicester we helped children visiting the event make  over 1200 Rotbots (compost "bins" in a bottle)  in one weekend). Send in a photo of your compost binimage
