Help! Are Briza grass seeds meant to look like this?

hello

just sowing in the greenhouse and opened this packet of Briza grass seeds. Are they meant to look like empty husks or should they have the spiky but in them (only one has)? They are like paper! Eeeek, how do a show these? Do they need covering or just putting in the surface of some damp compost?

Thanks for any help!

    I had a google here

and they look like yours. But to me they look like the bits the seeds fell out of.

They germinate like mustard and cress in the garden, so can't be difficult.

You don't say which Briza but I should think they're much the same.
