Hi All

This plant is growing in my garden.  I don't quite know what it is.  It used to have some white spots on the branches/leaves so I have tried to take away most of these and the plant seems to be growing back healthier.  I have not ever seen any flowers on it.  It is evergreen.

I would be grateful for any help.

    Eleagnus ebbingeiiimage

It flowers very late in the season and the scent is wonderful.

Oh wow, that was super quick!  Thank you so much.  I guess the spots are normal then, I'll leave it be.  Oops!

Yes, it does have a furry sort of appearanceimage

Yours may be too young to flower, it doesn't look very big.

Thanks again.  I'm very grateful I know what it is, that it is healthy and that I can watch it mature and thrive.

My garden is very sentimental and became quite overgrown so I'm finding my way through everything slowly.
