Hello can someone identify these plants please? The first one I bought recently and the guy said its st johns wort. Just wanted to double check.
The second one I would like to get but need to find the identity first.
1 looks like Hypericum Tricolour
2 is some form of sedum ( there are hundreds )
The second one looks like the flowerimg spike of an ice plant (Sedum spectable) which has been cut and placed into a tub of compost. They look like this when on the plant:
Agree with both of those. From the colour I think the Sedum is perhaps the variety 'Brilliant'?
A lovely choice
Hypericum tricolour has pink tinges to the edge of the leaves and pinky red stems. I could be wrong but it looks like Abelia to me. Right leaves and right stems. The other is definitely one of the Sedums.
I agree with Hosta.
Ray , double click the image of No1 and you'll clearly see pink tinges.
Agree with Hosta on the Hypericum, strange sedum, or is it just mine that don't flower until very late summer?
Hello thanks for all the replies and the link for the sedum
On looking closer I am inclined to agree with the Hypericum tricolour .
