earwigs

Not a problem, but I keep seeing advice on earwigs on dahlias and it occurred to me that I can't remember the last time I saw an earwig.  Are they in decline, I wonder?  An endangered species?

I used to have earwigs on dahlias, but now I haven't. I don't use pesticides.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
