Hurrah Laura! It just shows that following a sensible procedure, it can be straightforward. image

You'll be moving it around every year now image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • I was getting ready to post an update on how wonderful my peony flowers were but then my husband knocked them off with the hosepipe by accident.... There are more buds so hopefully I'll still have something to show you!

But in summary, I moved a Peony, and it's fine. (0:

Great stuff Laura - apart from hubby ....image image

They really are no bother to move. It's a shame so many people have been put off moving them in the past because of that perceived 'issue'.

As you've so clearly proved, it really is a load of old toss!  image

  • Thank you for all the info on this thread! Somehow i've stupidly planted a rose, oriental poppy and peony all in the same shade of pink in the same area.

I thought i had dug up the poppy. Ha ha (Thought the poppy) Apparently i'm very good at root cuttings ?

The peony is about to flower for the first time so i'll leave it be for now. Is it ok to replant another peony in the same spot?
