CAMELLIA 'ELEGANS'

I have this camellia in a large pot and it shows no sign of any flowers forming -  although the leaves look healthy enough.   Pic. will hopefully give you an idea of both the size of the plant and its container - its in ericaceous compost.   Should I move it to a larger pot, feed it or just leave it alone?

Your advice, please,

Many thanks

The most likely cause is that it dried out at some point. They need rain water rather than tap.

Or did you prune it, they make their flower buds late summer august time.

Thank you both for your replies - I have never pruned the plant; it is kept in a sheltered position at the side of the house over the winter and moved onto the patio when the flowers appear -  I have no means of collecting rainwater and until now have relied upon rainfall and topped up with tap water.

    Thanks again.
