Summer bulbs are in the shops now pinkpeony. Are these ones bought this year or last?
I'd give them a squeeze to see how firm they are, really old ones could either be soft and mouldy or dried up and mummified. If they're still firm give it a go and pot them up. The alternative is to bin them and buy again.
kitty 2 thank you; I can feel two new containers coming on! the bulbs arrived in February but I forgot about them until tidying the garage over Easter - they look fine and show no signs of dryness or mould So I'll try to get them planted this week, thanks again.
