Help to ID plants
Hi all! This is my first post and I'll introduce myself properly when the sun goes down or it rains. I just snapped these photos with my camera and would llike to post them real quick...then back out to enjoy this beautiful summer day in the garden.
I've got some plants growing in the garden one looks to be more of a weed and the other is a beautiful plant that I wouldn't mind knowing the name of so I can look up how to collect, keep and sow the seeds.
The five petal white/pink flowered plant pops up all around the garden so that is my suspected 'weed' and the plant with the tall dead flower heads is the one I want to encourage. If anyone can identify either or both of these plants I would very much appreciate it. Then I can research them more myself.

Could it be aquilegia? Just going by the leaves in front..
Yes, definitely aquilegia and you won't need to encourage it. In a few years, when it has seeded itself everywhere, you will be gently cursing it.
The other plant looks like some kind of phlox.
most def an aqualiga just snip the seed heads off and shake them all over lol my toddler does it and they are everywhere this year!!
