Problems with sweet corn

For many years we have grown sweet corn. The success has depended largely on the weather. This year we are growing, from seed, both mini cobs and the usual large ones. They have developed into very healthy full size plants but there is no sign of any cobs on them. Does anyone else have this problem? Rita

Are they in a sunny place? Enough water? When did they go in?
Give them a real good soaking - even last year on our light soil our corn needed the sprinkler on for half an hour for 3 evenings running, then they suddenly sprang into action.
