hi, i ordered these recently and they are growing nicely, but should i pinch out the growing tips? and if so where abouts on the stalk?
many thanks!!!
they look very leggy Hefty. My guess is it that it's too warm wherever you have them. I'd cut them down to a couple of leaves and store them somewhere much cooler, eg, unheated porch or unheated greenhouse.
yeah they r kinda legggy huh
ok great, they are in the spare room at the moment, so yes ill move em
many thanks for the info

now store them somewhere cool, not cold, with good light.
What are they ?
ok i will - big thanks for the info
no problem Hefty. We're all happy to help where and when we can.
Are you sure they are campanula, which type, they look like verbena bonariensis.
if they are verbena you can cut then right down.they look woody for campanula, but then I don't know all the different types.
Lyn, I think the " legginess" is the problem.
