Re planting fruit tree's...
I planted a plum tree last year on the allotment in what was the right spot, as the original plan was to grow it like a normal tree....I want to move it now to a better spot to grow as a fan, me thinks the branches are in the right places for it to be grown as a fan and can be trained.
The Q is what are the chances of it surviving a move and when would be the best time to dig it up - I was thinking now because this is the time to plant bare roots...
