White fungus on an acer

We have just noticed that our acer has a white fungus on leaves and branches and appears to be causing die back.
it is mainly on the underside of the leaves.
anyone seen anything similar, I'll try it with an anti fungal to see if that solves it.
ill try to post a picture when I get to a pc.

Sorry about the orientation, tried to rotate but the site knows best and rotated it back to landsmoremore
lol bud it's been doing it to my photo's too. i found if i rotate the picture on my computer then save rotate back save then upload it works.
back to the mould, I need to get my specs they look like grubs to me at the mo.
