Most of my Clematis had died back and then made new growth as the weather was so mild, now it's turning colder will the new growth die? If so will the plants make new growth ok when spring does arrive? In either case is it ok to prune group 3 clematis now or should I wait until late Feb? Thanks all

If the frost is severe then new growth will die off. They should come back with warmer weather and as for the group 3, yes I'd wait. There's still a lot of uncertainty in the long range weather.
