Mixed Lavender Hedge

Good afternoon,

I want to create a 5.5 meter long mixed lavender hedge, what species would you recommend? I thought i'd go for mixed to create some colour interest, as well as hoping that they might flower at different time.

Many thanks,
Sam

I agree with verdun and would stick with one variety.  If you wanted a little extra flower interest at different time I would dot in something orange image and then something dotted in deep purple that would flower different time

how is yours doing verdun? Have you posted pics?

I did a blue and white lavender hedge - Hidcote and Edelweiss forms about 6 or 7 metres long.    The white ones flower a bit later than the blue and so extend the season a bit and the flower stems are slightly longer.

They both have strong perfume and are covered in bees.

I agree that a hedge of one single variety looks very smart but my bi-colour hedge isn't shabby.
