Wooden greenhouse vs glass greenhouse?

You mean wood v aluminium. To be honest there's little difference other than the aesthetic's in my experience. Well maintained they'll both last for years. Maintenance on aluminium is lower and easier, budget wise aluminium works out cheaper as well. The growing conditions will be the same inside although some people think aluminium is slightly hotter. It's down to budget or personal preference.

  • I agree with Dave.  Aesthetically, wooden greenhouses are probably easier on the eye but aluminium ones are virtually maintenance free.  Whichever you choose, make sure you have a level and solid foundation as any kind of movement of the base over time will cause serious problems for either type.

I have found a wooden glasshouse easier to double glaze with bubble polythene than aluminium to help reduce the affects of the winter cold, using drawing pins, Aluminium is metal framed and does tend to be colder.
