Can anyone tell me if we have raspberry sawfly in the UK? My raspberry leaves are being stripped. I can't see any caterpillars on the leaves, but we had rose sawfly last year and the leaves were stripped in the same way.
Also I have a hammamelis which is looking very sick. The leaves are losing their green, and shrivelling up. It's in a pot of ericaceous compost, and I have fed it 3 times with sequestered seaweed feed, but it still looks very poorly. Is there anything else that might help?

What spray can I use on runner beans to kill black fly and to prevent them returning, without poisoning ourselves when we come to eat them ? My beans are smothered at the moment. Have tried 'grey' water, waiting results.
