I've just spent 10 minutes watching them do their murmuration, from my back garden! I've seen pics of them in other places but never so close to home. Maybe only about 250-300 birds but my goodness, what a sight to see!

    They are splendid aren't they

    We only have a few now, but I remember an enormous flock around the Gretna/Annan area when visiting BIL.

    It was lovely. Not the sort of thing I expected ever to see on an estate in Bristol image

    I remember them over Trafalgar square

     

    In London. Keen but lazy.
