Does anyone know if any sits exist where i can search for local people to me to help with my allotment planning? I mean as come and see the site and actually plan where to put what and offer advise on all matters? Regards. Steve

My best advice would be to talk to other allotment holders - their local knowledge and experience will be invaluable and they will be your allies in the adventures to come.

I also recommend joining your local Horticultural Society - put your postcode in here https://www.rhs.org.uk/communities/Find-a-group-search-form

As a backup solution, once you've drawn up a plan, you can take it to a garden centre, if you've got one nearby where they provide advice, and ask them if they see any potential problems. Make sure you mark where the north is and any sources of shade on the plan.
