Can anyone please help with this problem? I have a red acer which until quite recently was very healthy. It has now developed yellow spots and some fried edges. However there is new healthy growth at the base of the tree. It looks as if it has been sprayed, with something, but I have not used any insectices. I do have a photo, but am unable to upload.
There is also a heuchera at the base which also looks infected. Very strange.
