Thank you in advance image

  • Winter flowering Lonicera.

Mine is full of flowers at the moment.

Gorgeous, and the scent is gorgeous too!

Thank you kleipieper image  It's come out much earlier than usual this year but then it's been so ridiculously warm.  I've still got geums, fuchsias and poached egg plants flowering!

Sadly  I missed photographing the bumble bee - but all this week a fine Mr Bumble has been visiting each of the clematis "Freckles" flowerheads in turn!! Great stuff for mid-December!!

  • Great photos.

    My calendulas is also flowering.

It feels all wrong but I'm not really complaining as it's producing some very welcome cheering photos image  Lots of berries on my holly to cut and bring in next week too image

  • Too true, DyersEnd: I'm currently giving the thrushes, blackbirds, starlings etc the run of my berry bushes/ trees - but I think I'd better 'bag' a few of the branches with nice clusters on so that they don't get 'sampled' by the birds! * I construct several 'natural' wreaths for doorways & porches, so I need quite a plentiful supply once I get going!

    Our NYD flower count Tetleyimage

Number of plant types, not number of blooms. Fully out and not so frosted they're unrecognisable

3 years on the forum but I've been practicing for years. image

Just been round the garden and my winter honeysuckle is doing really well this year loads of beautiful fragrant flowers just opening. New garrya is doing well too, some lovely long tassels even though it's only a small plant.
