Compost

Moneys a little tight having only recently moved in to my own house (I'm 24 btw).

I bought some cheap home and garden compost from poundstretcher and it's full of sticks and bits of trees.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing and should I be picking the sticks out when putting the compost into my pots like I have been doing?

That's what I do, but I also have compost bins to dump the reject stuff into.

Take care though - last year in cheap compost I found a couple of pieces of glass. Buy a cheap plastic garden seive and get rid of the lumps that way

  • Thats two more things to add to the shopping list then. A compost bin and a seive haha.

    Cheers guys
