I have two of these in my garden, and both have decided to flower this year. They were given to me by a relative who was splitting plants some years ago, she has no clue where she got them from.
The leaves are a dark green and quite thick and leathery. The flowers seem to have no smell.

definitely a Yucca.
Yucca. New Zealand Flax and Phormium are the same thing, but not the one in your photo. Totally different flower.
