Poor subscriber magazine

I have received my first copy of the '5 for £5' subscriber offer, and what I received is very different, and very inferior, to the Gardener's World magazine on sale in the shops, yet it is blatantly advertised in GW as a subscription to GW.  Afraid it's an example of "if an offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is".  Shame on you, GW

Not sure what you mean there! I always have this on subs its exactly the same. With the added bonus of subs discounts.

Would it not be better to complain to the magazine instead of on the open forum.

I've taken up the offer of 3 issues of Gardens illustrated for £3 and its the full proper version of magazine, no problems

  • I have been taking the GW weekly from my newsagent for at least 25 years, and have watched it grow from a newspaper type seedling, to the magnificent glossy mag we have to-day, and long may it continue. (Wouldn;t know about subscriptions though)

Have to agree totally  with Lyn. My subscribers magazine is the same as the normal one but with extra discounts and offers so not sure why you're  finding something different with yours.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • I'm a subscriber to the mag, mine is always fine and looks the same as the one in the shops.
