Anyone got a clue what these bulbs are?
I don't recognise those but they're not bulbs.
Possibly bearded iris rhizomes or something similar ... ?
They look a bit dark and wrong for bearded iris but I have no better suggestion
Lots of them in a pot, but no one remembers putting them in the pot or what they are Only one way to find out I guess ...
Doesn't look like Iris to me - but it looks more like something I wouldn't want, if I'm honest...
Yes - plant 'em and see Stephen
Someone will probably recognise them
Only one sure way as you say, get them back in the pot
One of the aroids maybe?
Possibly jerusalem artichokes?
Were they buried or lying flat on the surface.? The shoot looks a bit like Hedychium but mine still have leaves and are dying down at the moment.
What did the leaves and/or flowers look like?
I think they could be Jerusalem artichokes. What do they smell like?
Hello Swiss Sue, haven't seen you here for ages.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
