marigolds

I have read lots of advice regarding eradication of ground elder and want to try planting marigolds in an area and geraniums in another, geraniums are sorted but is it too late to sow marigolds?

If its the tagetes marigolds you are talking about, I would say yes, but as it is something in the roots, it does not really matter if they don't flower. Go for it. scatter the seed and water in well.

    It's not a mess, it's a nature reserve.

Make sure you get tagetes marigolds and not calendula marigoldsimage
