Hi Rosie, I've got a Thalictrum given to me as a self sown seedling, not sure which one it is but it's around 1 metre tall and covered in little purple flowers at the minute. Avondale nursery sell it.
I've bought 3 of these plants at Harrogate Flower Show today. I think they will need support when bigger, but wonder if I could plant them where they could get support from other plants, as I don't want to use stakes. Any ideas?

try RHS Plantfinder Rosie. If it's available you'll find it there.
I find the tall ones too unstable for my garden.
In the sticks near Peterborough

I haven't needed to support my one Happycottontail but planting with other plants for support would be fine.
