Clearing c

Hope to move house  soon and want to dig up medium sized shrubs which have sentimental value to me. Includes wigelia , lilac, red current, clematis, rodadendrum . They are about 2/3 foot tall and max 3 ft wide. Are they too big to dig  up? I am not going  to attempt it till nearer the time will be probably be nearer end of August .

Make absolutely sure that the person buying the house knows, in writing, what you are going to remove.  This is a legal requirement, or they will have a claim against you.

You can take anything you like which is in pots when the sale is agreed, but after that date you cannot dig up plants and remove them without permission.  Though you can of course take cuttings from suitable plants.
