Is there a difference between normal Epsom salts and Horticultural Epsom salts ?

    I don't think there is any difference other than one is approved for human consumption whereas the horticultural grade is not.

    If all you want is a bit for your tomatoes, then 300g is about £2.50 from your local pharmacy.  It should last all season.  Pharmaceutical grade is ok for plants (even if its out of date)image
