when do I sow primrose seeds
Hi everyone...
I have just harvested some fresh native primrose seeds.. I need to know ... do I sow them green or dry them our first.
This is first time doing it by seed as normally split them.. but th
ought would give it a go.

They germinate far better if sown fresh rather than dried out ones.
Best sown now in compost in trays, cover with a fine layer of grit. Put in coldframe and then wait. They may not germinate until spring.
