Hole in my courgette

Could it be that the flower was pulled off too quickly? This courgette plant is in a pot and the others courgettes are coming on nicely. This is a golden courgette.
If not the flower, what else is it likely to be?

I think this indicates that the flower wasn't properly fertilised by insects. Hopefully the next ones will be

The first couple of courgettes on my plants were similar, I just picked them off and next lot are doing great, eaten two this evening. I give mine a tomato feed once a week.
One of the other courgettes on the same plant is lovely and fat and going a lovely golden colour so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks for replies.
