Me and my husband have just taken over a rather overgrown allotment. We've strimmed it down but I wondered if I can put this top growth in the compost bin. It includes things like nettle, ragwort, dandelions, bind weed and some of the grass has seed heads.
Try a new product called Biowish compost boost. It accellerates the compost process so that food is broken down quicker and stops any odours - so it doesn't attract the rats. I get fantastic compost in 6 weeks!
who can tell me the best way to store carrots without them going soft. how long will they last in a box of sand or should i prepare them for the freezer.?
