does anyone know if where i could source the ingrediant core which comes in the patch magic miricle gro feed seed and core or choir.ihave plenty of spare seed and sports turf fertiliser and was going to experiment making my own batch to cover bare and thinning patches on my lawn, ive used the miricle patch magic before with decent results though it is pricey.

Try looking for COIR  its coconut fibre from the outer shell of a coconut. Composted bark would probably do the same job
