I've sorted out my greenhouse today - just started raining here!

It's been a dumping place for the last year so now I've got a decent size plot of earth on one side - is it too late to plant tomatos?  Any suggestions?

I decided to clear a small area. Then I found another roscoea , buried under euphorbia. Then I decided to rip out all the euphorbia griffithi since it shouldn't be there anyway, becuse it spread too far. Then it looked silly with just a clump of aquilegias in the middle. So I cleared the lot, put the aquilegias in a bucket to pot up, ....and then it rained, and rained, and rainedimage

    It's not a mess, it's a nature reserve.

It started raining here about 3 - before that I'd done quite a bit of potting up and potting on, including potting up a tub for the front porch.  After that I polished off a huge pile of ironing that had been accumulating since we came back from our holiday.

It's only drizzling - I've left the towels out on the line.

No-one knows if you've done your housework, but everyone knows if you've done your gardening !

Been pouring down here since 11.30 this morning, got work finished at 3 customers before getting rained off.  Sent the afternoon ironing, doing accounts and banking and then made some flapjacks and pasta for tea.

Not a bad day at all here.  Until the minute (literally) I stepped out of work this evening, that is! image

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Ah, typical Bob, you admire the sun from the window, looking forward to getting in the garden, thinking of the jobs to be done, then about an hour before work finishes it clouds over, and then, hopes are dashed....godamn british weather lol  !
