Lawn being dug up

My lawn is being totally dug up at the moment by a young fox. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? I have chased it away a few times but it returns under cover of darkness!

You need to find out where it is coming in-like all animals there must be food source it is after-if you can barrier that off- it will go elsewhere
Dog or even male urine as territory marking is suggested -first find your dog or man
There are some products you can buy that are supposed to deter them
There is not much more you can do until it gets fed up -in more ways than one.
