Daffodils and tulips
I always understood that foliage from daffodils and tulips should be left to yellow and wither away. But in the "what to do now " section in GW.com it says to cut back to ground now. Most of the foliage on mine is still fairly green, because of the late spring. So now I'm confused 
. What are other gardeners doing?

once they're sagging and turning brown I have them off if I'm going to. Some disappear behind other plants and I let them be

I leave them until they're turning brown - I agree that because of the exceptionally late flowering this year the 'what to do' sections in all magazines etc are a bit ahead of what we need to be doing as they go to print a while before publication.

Me too. Some are still green so I'll leave those until they turn.
The other thing to bear in mind is that when they turn from green to brown not only depends on variety but also where you are in the country. As a keen watcher of Beechgrove as well as GW I notice how often Beechgrove (Scotland) are some weeks behind GW (usually Monty or Carol's garden "down south")
I`ve strimmed some of mine down at work but left others depending on their colour, going brown and they`re gone, still green and i`ll leave them for another week or so.
