GW free agapanthus

Morning guys I have received my November issue of GW and the offer is 6 for postage I've never grown them before are they best for pots or in my long bed with Delphi , lillies and allium and will they spread at all . It's the colours that attract me cos this bed is mainly blue/lavender and white.

Depends where you are primrose. Milder parts of the UK you can leave them in the ground with a thick bark mulch. I'd check the varieties on the RHS website for hardiness then decide whether you need to pot them or not. My preferred option would be to pot them and come the better months sink the pots in your beds. They are clump forming plants and spread quite slowly and potting the allows you to control that. I'd take them out for winter and keep the frost free personally. British weather can be unpredictable at the best of time's.
