Gooseberry Variety?

I brought a Gooseberry plant - well more of a twig - last year, but it didn't come with any information as to what variety it is.

It has red berries  so i thought it might be "Pax" but it has big thorns..

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

..I have one called 'Hinnonmaki Red' which as you would guess is red berried and also very thorny.... perhaps it's the same one you have...?
