Over wintering lotus orange

Our community group hopes to over winter a large number of perennial lotus orange trailing plants ( a type of parrot's beak  ). Some will be in an unheated greenhouse, others in an unheated poly tunnel.

Can anyone offer advice - watering, pruning etc.

Don't let it go below 45, don't let it dry out and don't keep it standing in water, prune it back a bitimage
  • Thanks for that, Logan.

The 45 degrees might be a problem.

We'll better have some emergency fleece on hand if the winter turns out to be as  harsh as predicted.

    Liz
