Cucumber or courgette?

My courgette and cucumber seedlings have got muddled up and I am blaming the cat! Is there any way of telling the difference? I have planted 3 in the green house and 2 outside to hedge my bets. All have buds on but no flowers yet. Any suggestions?

    The courgette will grow a lot bigger and faster. The first "false" leaves on a courgette will be twice the size of those on a cucumber. The cucumber will show signs of wanting to grow vertically.

    Also, the courgette will start showing flowers from near the centre but cucumbers will flower later and along the long stem that should appear.

    It is a wait and see game then. All plants are looking healthy so hopefully it will remain that way and I'll be patient. Thanks to both of you for your tips.
