Cheese plant issues

Hi, i have had my cheese plant since it was around hand height, i repotted to a larger pot and it has lot's of baby stems on it but it's not getting any taller. i have had it for nearly 3 years and it hasnt got the 'swiss' look yet either, as in it has no holes in it's leaves. Should i put it in a larger pot? Also the leaves are rather yellow tinged on the edges. Someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong.
many thanks

It doesn't look terribly happy does it? What sort of compost is it in? Have you fed it and if so what with and how often?
I've not grown one for years, but I remember they like moist air around them - I made a moss pole (a bamboo cane with florist's moss wrapped thickly around it and fixed with florist's wire) for the cheese plant to sort of climb up (it will need help) and I kept the moss damp by spraying with a mister (use rainwater if at all possible).
I also kept the pot on a tray of pebbles with water in them, so the atmosphere around them was moist.

thank you for the reply. it's in a generic multi purpose compost and i feed it once every 2 weeks with a nettle fertiliser that i make. i will try the moss thing. thanks
