Mm We get deposits like this in various sizes and consistency almost daily. I think it is fox. The big question here is do you ignore it and hope that husband will notice and deal with it or do you tackle it head on, so to speak, if so how? Yuk
It's always my job to "deal with" anything that goes under the heading of "discovered waste".
I must say, I think it's a fair deal. I don't have to do anything involving travel, which I loathe. I'd rather spend five minutes looking at some semi liquid than spend five minutes in a car.
For those who are interested and are still reading, the consistency looked tarry but proved to be surprisingly crumbly. There were quite a lot of things that looked like sloe stones inside it. I think that the grey fur must have been baby rabbit.
Enough.
Apophthegm - a big word for a small thought. If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.
does look the right colour for fox poo, but I'm more used to seeing it smeared all over my dog rather that in formed shapes like that
LOL! I was thinking the same thing. Why do they DO that? (Or should it be DOO that). Once I discovered I tracked in a tiny bit of fox poo when I saw my dog rolling on it in the entryway.

Thank you one and all.
Just been and bought another CCTV for the garden. Must see what we can find.

Don't you just love wild life in the garden.
At least it's easily pickupable , very kind of him to do it on the slab.

If that's what they eat on a week night I'd hate to have to clear up after a party.
