Horseradish under my fruit trees

I have tried digging out the horseradish under my apple and plum trees to no avail. Is it safe to use a weed killer (if there is one for horseradish) now or in early spring?

Horseradish will succumb to weedkiller. In the spring, when it's growing. Or you could make a virtue out of necessity and sell it. image

  • Thank you.

Might just try to sell a few roots.

They might pay for the weedkiller at least.image

I'm sure they are a rare treat for someone.

  • If you happen to dig up a lost time machine, the ancient Romans are quite partial to those two. image

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
