White powder on buxus tree-treatment?

Hi I have two buxus trees -I got them around Christmas and didn't transplant them to a larger planting vessel (guilty!).-They have acquired new growth with the onset of milder weather but they also have white loose powder on the leaves *not like mildew more like talc)-Does this harbour a pest? -does it need treatment?-any ideas what this might be and how I should treat it? -Thank you.
