Haven't got pic of whole plant when seen. leaves looked smaller than other laurels I've seen and darker green. Whole plants were about 5' - 6' high and 3' - 4' across. not totally upright - some slightly drooping stems. Flower spikes about 6". Have Googled but I can't see one that looks the same
There are lots of cultivars Catbee. If you google 'Prunus laurocerasus cultivars' you should find a list.
I don't hate laurels totally like daisy but after a few nice green years in my soil they're past their best and yellowing, then some leaves go brown, then I cut those branches off and some more dies back so I cut right down to the ground and another nice bush appears fora few years and so it goes on.

Bigger picture of the whole plant will tell us whether it's basic laurel, Prunus laurocerasus or one of it's cultivars.
